Dry Break Coupling
Dry break couplings are widely used in the oil, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Their use enables the safe and environmentally friendly transfer of hazardous liquids and gases between different storage tanks. These couplings are designed for spill-free connection and disconnection.
Both the couplings and the adapters are equipped with internal poppet valves that automatically close and open during connection and disconnection. The valves can only open when the coupling and adapter are fully connected.
The couplings are manufactured from aluminium, brass/bronze castings and stainless steel. Sizes range from ¾” to 6″, available with NPT, BSP and NPSF threads, as well as in flanged versions. The couplings can be supplied assembled with hoses upon request. They can be combined with hose couplings, and versions integrated with tank connections are also available. We offer dry break couplings from both TODO and MannTek.
