Our company – GIA-Hungária Ltd. – as a member of the international GIA Group present in 12 countries, has since 1992 been operating in the field of fuel and related technologies.
Our services are provided through different business units based on specific expertise and unique specializations.
Within our fuel station technical project business unit, we work with all equipment used at filling stations, such as dispensers, payment terminals, cash register systems, dispenser interfaces, level measurement probes, submersible pumps and compressors.
Thanks to our extensive experience and broad supplier network, we are able to meet any custom requirement.
We are happy to support our partners from the initial concept with consultancy and our own design team, handling planning and regulatory permitting, and managing the entire project from tank installation through to turnkey commissioning.
As the market leader in Hungary, our fuel station technical service business unit provides 24/7 servicing for complete networks such as Shell, MOL, Volánbusz, as well as private fuel stations. From our regional centers across the country, we can begin fault remediation within as little as 8 hours in critical cases, ensuring minimal downtime for our partners.
Over decades of operation, our commercial department has built a complete supplier network for hoses, hose couplings, nozzles, industrial pumps, compensators, flow meters, filtration systems and other industrial components. We are the exclusive Hungarian distributor of Faudi Aviation, Elaflex, MannTek, and many other European and American manufacturers.
Within our car wash business unit, we sell and install both portal car washes and self-service systems as the exclusive Hungarian distributor of Aquarama, one of the world’s largest car wash manufacturers. Our services cover everything from financial feasibility and ROI calculations and micro-market analysis through design and installation.
We are especially proud that since 2017 we have been servicing aviation fuel supply systems at NATO airports in Hungary, a scope that was extended in 2018 to Hungarian Defence Forces facilities, including both kerosene and conventional fuel systems.
Through our Aviation business unit, we work not only with military airbases but also with Hungary’s major and regional airports, providing both maintenance services and technological equipment supply.
Our industrial project team delivers fuel technology projects outside the scope of filling stations, such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, hydrocarbon storage facilities and automotive factories. Our references include projects such as the automated fuel dosing and flow measurement system built at the Mercedes plant in Kecskemét, the FAME dosing system installed at the DFI Petrol Terminal in Dunaföldvár, and the JET-A1 filtration system constructed at the Duna Refinery. Our references span multiple countries; our largest design-and-build project to date was successfully completed in Coventry (United Kingdom) at the Jaguar manufacturing plant.
Our team supports prospective partners from assessing customer needs through developing the solution, and provides assistance all the way from design and permitting to turnkey implementation.
